Subject: Association of European Economics Education – 2021 conference
Dear,

We are pleased – very pleased, in fact – to announce that the 23rd European Economics Education conference will take place this year.  It will be in Freiburg, as planned, but, to be safe, we’ve pushed the dates back to Thursday, October 7 – Saturday, October 9.  Since indications – including a promise from Angela Merkel – are that everyone will have a chance for vaccination by end of summer, we are confident that our conference will be among the first to take place again in real space.

You can see descriptions of the conference themes on our website, www.economicseducation.eu.  Contributions are invited in all themes, and we particularly encourage workshops and presentations on teaching about inequality – causes, effects, solutions, and so forth – or on how economics education will change post-coronavirus.

Both registration and submission of session proposals will open on March 8. To give you as much flexibility as possible, deadlines are set at September 1 for proposals and September 15 for registration. It would aid our planning, of course, to get attendance information earlier so we encourage you to register before the summer if possible.  As a small thank you, we offer a €10 discount on the registration fee until June 21.  (Keep in mind that you get a full refund of the fee if you need to cancel later.)

We look forward to seeing you, at last, in Freiburg.

Use your personal account to enhance your conference experience.

Greetings from the AEEE-team.
