![]() AEEE is pleased to announce the first three of our keynote speakers for the upcoming European Economics Education conference in Leeuwarden (October 12 - October 14), Netherlands: Adele Atkinson is currently Professor of Practice in Financial Literacy and Wellbeing at the University of Birmingham. Prior to her return to academia, she was Head of Financial Education at the OECD, where she was responsible for a network of over 120 countries, providing technical assistance, developing international policy guidance and undertaking novel research. Victoria Westra-Snouck Hurgronje is coordinator of sustainability at our host university, NHL Stenden. She is the key driver of the Green Wave, a comprehensive joint initiative of students and employees at the university that includes everything from practical recycling solutions to in-depth research and policy making. Sam de Muijnck is chief economist at the Dutch independent think tank, Our New Economy. Together with Joris Tieleman, he published a book on how to reform economics education, Economy Studies: A Guide to Rethinking Economics Education.
