Subject: Welcome to Milan 2025
Dear,

You can start planning now:  After a quarter century away, the Association of European Economics Education returns to Milan next year for its 25th biannual conference, Thursday, August 28 - Saturday, August 30, 2025.

As always, the conference will provide opportunities for researchers, teachers and other professionals involved in economics education to meet with and hear from their counterparts from all over Europe (as well as some from overseas).

Last year’s conference, you may recall, had the title “Preparing for the Future.”  For many of us, it seems to have arrived even sooner than expected.  The 2025 conference will be titled “The Future is Now.”  Two new themes, “Artificial Intelligence” and “Gender Diversity,” will supplement the six from past conferences:  sustainability, entrepreneurship and business economics, financial education and literacy, alternative teaching approaches, teacher training and a miscellaneous category.  We welcome lectures, interactive presentations and workshops in all of these areas.

We will begin accepting presentation proposals, as well as registration, on November 1, 2024.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the organization that became the AEEE.  It was founded as a forum for economics educators from the member countries of the European Economic Community to come together to share their knowledge and ideas.  That remains (with obvious updating) the primary purpose of AEEE today.

We encourage you to join the celebration by entering our competition.  To be eligible, you will present a project that involves either research with an explicitly international character or active collaboration between teachers, teacher trainers or administrators from different countries.  You can find information about the prize, deadline and so forth on our website, https://www.economicseducation.eu.
